Our renovated farm cottage is located between the historic towns of Poitiers, with over a 100 church towers and the famous Futuroscope parc and medieval Limoges renowned for its pottery and enamels.

Lavender cottage is set at the edge of la Vignere, a quiet hamlet in a working rural community just mins from the typically unspoiled village of Bussiere Poitivene.

The village has everything you need, fresh daily baked bread, croissants and cakes at the two baker's, two small supermarket's, a post office, two bars, a chemist and a very good restaurant.

From here you can explore the treasures, step into history, join in the festivals, enjoy the gourmet foods and wine, take in the breathtaking scenery, walk, ride, fish, have adventures, be sporty, enjoy the pure air and wonderful light that has inspired Monet, Carot and others.
